Masjid-e-Tooba or Tooba Mosque also known as Gol Masjid, is located in the city of Karachi, Sindh. This mosque has the capacity to hold up to 5,000 people. It has one dome without any pillars/columns/ with the area of 67 meters and minaret of 70 meters.
This mosque is entirely developed with white marble. The diameter of dome is almost 65m and its level on low encircling wall with no middle pillars. The Tooba Mosque is composed of only one minaret standing 37m in altitude. The Masjid-e-Tooba primary prayer hall having a potential of covering 5000 people. It was established keeping audibility in mind. An individual talking inside one side of the dome can be listened at the other side. The mosques were architected and designed by Dr. Babar Hamid Chauhan (Pakistani Architect).
The outstanding beauty of the mosque is really elegant as it does not comprise of fancy artistry. All the work of mirror they had in the interior of mosque is very classy and simple. There is a lush green lawn outside to make some space so that the visitors can walk around and praise its beauty be saying Subhan’Allah frequent times. It is an embellished impressive masjid and significant symbol of Islamic Culture.
Worshippers come here often to offer prayers in congregation, especially during religious holidays moreover many tourists come to Masjid e Tooba for its fascinating architecture.
The mosque was designed by Pakistani architect Babar Hamid Chauhan and the engineer was Zaheer Haider Naqvi. 18th largest mosque in the world, which has the largest dome without any support and pillars with beautiful interior design, small garden with central conic fountain, thus providing heritage and culture value to the local tradition of Islamic architecture and design.

مسجد طوبہ یا طوبہ مسجد جسے گول مسجد بھی کہا جاتا ہے، کراچی، سندھ میں واقع ہے۔ اس مسجد میں 5000 افراد کے بیٹھنے کی گنجائش ہے۔ اس کا ایک گنبد بغیر کسی ستون/ کالم کے ہے جس کا رقبہ 67 میٹر اور مینار 70 میٹر ہے۔
یہ مسجد مکمل طور پر سفید سنگ مرمر سے تیار کی گئی ہے۔ گنبد کا قطر تقریباً 65 میٹر ہے اور اس کی سطح نچلی چاردیواری والی دیوار پر ہے جس میں درمیانی ستون نہیں ہیں۔ طوبہ مسجد صرف ایک مینار پر مشتمل ہے جو 37 میٹر بلندی پر کھڑا ہے۔ مسجد طوبہ کا پرائمری ہال جس میں 5000 لوگوں کے بیٹھنے کی گنجائش ہے اسے سمعی کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے قائم کیا گیا تھا۔ گنبد کے ایک طرف کے اندر بات کرنے والا شخص دوسری طرف سے سنا جا سکتا ہے۔ مساجد کو ڈاکٹر بابر حامد چوہان (پاکستانی ماہر تعمیرات) نے تعمیر اور ڈیزائن کیا تھا۔ ان کے پاس مسجد کے اندرونی حصے میں آئینے کا تمام کام بہت عمدہ اور سادہ ہے۔ باہر ایک سرسبز و شاداب لان ہے جس میں کچھ جگہ بنائی گئی ہے تاکہ زائرین گھوم پھر کر اس کی خوبصورتی کی تعریف کرتے ہوئے بار بار سبحان اللہ کہہ سکیں۔
یہ ایک دیدہ زیب متاثر کن مسجد اور اسلامی ثقافت کی نمایاں علامت ہے۔نمازی اکثر یہاں باجماعت نماز ادا کرنے کے لیے آتے ہیں، خاص طور پر مذہبی تعطیلات کے دوران اس کے علاوہ بہت سے سیاح اس کے دلکش فن تعمیر کے لیے مسجد طوبہ میں آتے ہیں۔
مسجد کا ڈیزائن پاکستانی ماہر تعمیرات بابر حامد چوہان نے تیار کیا تھا اور انجینئر ظہیر حیدر نقوی تھے۔ دنیا کی 18 ویں سب سے بڑی مسجد ہے، جس میں بغیر کسی سہارے کے سب سے بڑا گنبد اور خوبصورت اندرونی ڈیزائن کے ساتھ ستون، مرکزی مخروطی فاؤنٹین والا چھوٹا باغ، اس طرح اسلامی فن تعمیر اور ڈیزائن کی مقامی روایت کو ورثہ اور ثقافتی قدر فراہم کرتی ہے۔
